I just discovered that Dolly Parton did a ... country... cover of one of my favourite songs from my early teenage years, Collective Soul's "Shine".

Whoa-oh *twaaang* Heaven let your light shine down.

And she won a Grammy for it? WTF, yo.
(It's very twangy, but not a *horrific* rendition...)
