So. MS research has a new product that, given sung lyrics, will create a backing track for you. See here for the horrifically cheesy corporate example, and here for what happens when you take Van Halen lyrics and feed them in.

So, I just realized that Trent Reznor posts multi-track versions of his stuff. So, someone totally needs to feed all his lyrics tracks to this program and see what kind of atrocities they can come up with.

He's also released Garage Band breakdowns of his songs too so you can remix all of the tracks yourself for fun.

Ug. The Songsmith commercial scarred me almost as much as that HORRIBLE Microsoft rap commercial they did. :)
