On a train to kyoto
I love trains. Japan loves trains. I could totally get used to this.
Meg conveniently lives on both the subway and the JR Osaka Loop Line. It was very simple to get on a train to Kyoto, and wow, this goes fast (and I'm not even on a shinkansen yet...)
Its ridiculously hot here, but I'm amazed at how quickly one can adapt to that. I understand why people carry fans... I imagine it helps quite a bit.
I'm going to Kyoto on my own... I'm going to be soooo lost. Tee hee!

For The Love Of Trains
What a wonderful adventure Max! How did this all come about? I feel like I've missed a meeting somewhere.
Re: For The Love Of Trains
I'd been planning this since about April, and it's totally amazing that I'm actually here.
