I'm arrived in Vancouver, and about to board the flight to Osaka, which means I'm about half the way there.

So, I remembered to pack the ds, but forgot to pack any additional games, so all I have is New Super Mario Brothers.

I've just been called to bored....

I know I'm going to feel stupid when you tell me, but what's a DS? I was reading someone's blog the other day and he was going on and on about playing his DS and I didn't know what he meant.

Dual Screen. (The unit has two screens.) Apparently it *also* stands for "Developer's System," because it was intended to inspire lots of innovative new development. I think the former explanation makes more sense.

Games on the DS aren't region coded, so if you find something in English (or can read Japanese) in Osaka, grab it. :-)

Especially if it's some weird-assed stuff that'll never be released in North America.
